Britney's night of mayhem

It all kicked off again over at Britney Spears Towers on Monday night with the arrival of a string of concerned visitors, including the singer’s parents and the boys in blue.
The upset reportedly started after Britters got in a huge yelling match with “manager” Sam Lufti as he drove her to into her gated complex. She leapt out and sat on the curb, shouting at paparazzi: "I'm sitting for once and having a nice time with my dog!"
The star’s pap boyfriend Adnan Ghalib said he received a hysterical phonecall from Britney pleading, "Baby, can you come pick me up?" – but when he arrived at the house, he was turned away by security. Probably shouldn’t have worn those trainers.
Adnan called his girlfriend’s landline and each of her six – six! – mobiles, but to no avail. Then parents Jamie and Lynn Spears arrived, along with the LAPD, who had apparently been called to restrain paparazzi trying to photograph the action. They ended up doling out a load of parking tickets.
At this stage – about 9pm – Britters got into Adnan's car and they drove off into the sunset, stopping at a petrol station and convenience store to fill up car’s tank and empty Britney’s bladder. Said employee Rocky Shantha: "She came into the store and rushed straight to the restroom. She looked determined to get there." Thanks, Rocky.
Meanwhile, the feud between Sam and Adnan looks set to continue: US gossipmonger Perez Hilton published a series of text messages from Lufti to Ghalib, including the stern words: “You need to cease all contact with her completely. I’ve tried to work with you helping her but you didn’t do as asked. only way to help now is to disappea” (sic).
What a palaver!
